Join me on my visit to the Cut and Crafts Christmas market food stall in York.

It’s located on Parliament Street, opposite Barclays Bank. The stall offers the quality of Cut and Crafts signature steaks on the go, which is a dream of mine.

Their small menu of two meals is a great idea, as it keeps things simple and allows them to focus on maintaining high standards and quality. Which shone through on my visit.

I was also excited to check out their range of gifts they had available, including candles, steak knives, and their signature Cut and Craft salt.

Which seemed like the perfect idea to find unique gifts for the cut and crafts enthusiasts in our lives.

I’m curious to see how they maintain their high standards in a food stall.

The stall stays true to the Cut and Crafts branding, featuring the signature blue and white colors.

It’s adorned with flowers and greenery, which instantly brings to mind the ambiance of the York restaurant.

I noticed that they have an open flame grill to cook the steak, albeit smaller than the one at the restaurant.

The steaks are served in a branded Cut and Crafts box, ensuring that the experience reflects the high standards synonymous with Cut and Crafts.

My Food at Cut and Crafts Christmas Market Stall

I opted for the Steak and chips, which features Cut and Crafts’ signature flat iron steak, sliced and served on a flatbread alongside chips and their distinctive salt and peppercorn sauce.

They cook all their steaks to be pink unless otherwise specified.

Personally, I prefer my steak to be cooked through and without any blood, and the staff reassured me that when they say “pink,” most of the steaks are cooked medium.

The quality of the steak was truly exceptional, with no fat and each mouthwatering bite incredibly tender.

The peppercorn sauce added a delightful warmth, and its heat softened the flatbread.

While the chips were a bit overdone and lacked a substantial amount of potato inside, they were still enjoyable.

At £14, my order of the steak and chips felt like a worthwhile investment, considering the incredible taste and the comfort it brought in the cold weather.

It truly made for the perfect winter food stall experience.
