My Food at Saint Nicks Frites
I decided to try the Chicken loaded fries, featuring salt and pepper chicken, sesame seeds, and a topping of sriracha mayo, all served on a bed of seasoned fries.
The stall happily accommodated my request to remove the chillies and spring onion, and they even checked if I was okay with the spiciness of the sriracha mayo, considering my preference to remove the chillies.
The meal was served fresh and warm, providing the perfect comfort as I strolled through the chilly Christmas market.
The chicken was delightfully crispy, and the fries were seasoned to perfection.
While the sriracha mayo packed a bit more heat than I prefer, it didn’t detract from the amazing flavour.
If I have the opportunity to visit again, I would love to sample the garlic aioli.
How Much Is Saint Nicks Frites?
Purchasing the Chicken loaded fries set me back £10.50, but considering the incredible flavor, texture, and presentation of the meal, I found it to be entirely worth it.
When comparing Saint Nicks Frites to other food stalls at the York Christmas market, the price is quite competitive.
For instance, another food stall, Cut and Crafts York, offers Steak and Chips for £14, making Saint Nicks Frites a more budget-friendly option for equally satisfying fare.
