American muscle in the car park, Smokehouse aromas in the air, and live football on every screen. Hickory’s Smokehouse York kicked off the 2026/2027 NFL season in style, turning its bar into the ultimate game-day hub.

Every Sunday from 6pm, Hickory’s screens show every match across multiple screens alongside non-stop RedZone coverage. Here is what went down on launch night! From loaded dirty wings to multi-game stadium energy.

Touch Down! Walk Through Of My Night

The team greeted us warmly at the door and showed us straight to our reserved bar table with prime views of three different screens.

It was an amazing surprise to see live music been played before kick-off to build up the game day atmosphere.

The staff were quick to strike up a friendly chat about the night’s matchups and who we were backing.

We headed over to the bar to grab our first round, ordering the new Gameday Punch. It was sweet, refreshing, and great for settling in as the opening drives kicked off.

By halftime, the room was buzzing and we needed some game-day fuel. We put in an order for the new Dirty Wings, which arrived loaded and messy just in time for the second-half action.

What We Had To Eat and Drink

We kicked off with the New Gameday Punch cocktail which used Evan Williams Bourbon before sharing a Hickory’s Pale Ale growler which cost £19.40.

At half-time, we tackled the Bucket of Dirty Wings, smothered in fiery Louisiana hot sauce, and cool blue cheese and my partner ordered the New Dirty Wing Tray, 15 wings covered in 3 game day flavours (Hot Honey, Honey Mustard and Nashville Dust, Louisiana Hot sauce and Ranch Dressing) UNBELIEVABLE!! Honey Mustard and Nashville Dust… Hands down winner!
