My First Impressions of Travelodge Monks Cross

Travelodge Monks Cross York

The exterior building is modern with blue lights lighting up the building at night, also, spanning around 3 floors and incredibly wide with plenty of parking spaces.

Upon entering warm lights flooded the reception area, making the place feel clean and welcoming, and it was a great teaser for the rest of my stay.

My Experience at Travelodge Monks Cross

One of the staff working at the front desk greeted me with a smile as I stepped inside, further signaling me to come over to her before she kindly helped me get checked in.

She kept it brief, making friendly talk, before giving me the directions to my room, a short but sweet interaction.

I visited Pear Tree Farm, a carvery house less than 200yards away for tea with an amazing atmosphere and freshly prepared food.

My Room At Travelodge Monks Cross

I booked a standard room with a double bed, the room was as described a standard room with a double bed.

The room was medium-sized with double bed in the middle, a wall-mounted TV, mirror, a desk which included coffee and tea, and an ensuite bathroom with soap and shampoo included.

The bed was comfy and soft which made it easy for me to relax after a long day, with extra pillows in the wardrobe.

How Much Did It Cost?

I visited throughout January a quieter time for most hotel so i got a great deal on my room only costing me £43 for 1 night, not including breakfast.

Please bare in mind prices can fluctuate depending on time of year.
